Located within the Umalas district of Bali, the entrance to this two-bedroom villa is across large stones set within a lotus pool. Angular roofs in serap, above walls of island stone, create an air of anticipation. Sharp lines and beautiful finishing categorize this two-bedroom villa, a mélange of the modern with traditional elements make this a showcase of modern Balinese architecture.
Location
Nestled next to rice field paddies and in the district of Umalas, within a private villa complex, it is ideally situated within easy reach of the airport and Seminyak's boutiques and fine restaurants. With security present at the main entrance to the villas 24 hours a day, safety and privacy are assured. The villas share a large communal parking area. Thick beds of green and floral foliage screen off the villas ensure a discreet level of privacy while allowing a view of the rice fields.
Set outside of the urban areas and fronting on rice fields, Villa Bali Bali Two offers comfort and style without compromising on either.
Service & Facilities
The living room provides the center point of Villa Bali Bali Two. Upstairs is a loft that serves as the audiovisual room. The living room is decorated in antiques from around the archipelago and featuring walls done in stone with wood detailing, it's a place to entertain or merely relax. Floored in local sandstone, opening onto the garden and pool on one side and the dining room, that seats six, and a modern kitchen on the other, everything that one needs seems to be only steps away.
Local fabrics in earth tones adorn the villa, blending in well with the predominantly wood furniture, serving as a reminder of how important the soil is to the culture of Bali.
A Balinese shrine stands to one side of the swimming pool and looks down the large lawn that contains a bale for relaxing or massages. The villa is positioned to look out on to some of Bali's world famous rice field terraces. Next to the villa, the swimming pool possesses an avant-garde design and a wooden deck running down one side.
With sliding doors providing access to the pool, the first bedroom has polished hardwood floors offset by white walls. The ensuite bathroom features a wooden floored shower and twin marble basins. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.
The master bedroom is roughly the same size, with an ensuite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub formed of native stone with a hardwood finish that has a view of its own private garden.
Staff
The Villa Bali Bali Complex provides: a full-time house manager, three full-time cooks, three maids, five security guards, two gardeners and pool attendants.
